Recipe: Snickers Fat Bomb
Nov 02, 2018So you’re a bliss ball fan, that bite size ball of deliciousness is just what your looking for and hits the spot right? But you’re worried about the agave syrup and copious amount of dates in there too right? Maybe you have concerns that one bliss ball today will be a bliss ball craving tomorrow? Maybe you’re trying to avoid insulin spikes for various health reasons as well as because you are wanting to burn fat for fuel over sugar? Well let me introduce you to the Fat Bomb!
Fat Bombs have only recently come on my radar and if you google #fatbombs you’ll be surprised at the variety and number of them, mostly posted by fat fasters and those who aim for ketosis. In short this fat bomb will hit your chocolate craving with a nice dose of antioxidant from the cacao, satisfy your hunger cravings with a good dose of nut butter and coconut oil. The stevia is purely optimal I found them quite delicious without any at all but added some anyway for a real sweet treat (that’s got no sugar in at all). I like these with a cup of tea in the afternoon. Tip: keep theses Choc n nut delights in the fridge else you’ll have a Fat Puddle!!!! ?
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup coconut oil
- 3/4 cup almond butter
- 1/4 cup coconut flour
- 2 tablespoons of cacao
- Teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon of stevia powder
Method
- Pop all ingredients in a saucepan and slowly melt over a low heat stirring regularly.
- Once combined allow to cool and mixture to harden. When it’s firm enough to be shaped use your hands to roll into balls. Stick an almond in the top. Done.
